As a LOB Risk Lead on the COO Team, this person will be responsible for assisting Corporate & Commercial Banking in achieving its goals by driving Change, Risk, Compliance and Project Management; promoting relationships with all stakeholders; improving efficiency of processes; ensuring compliance with risk management objectives; developing and maintaining policies and procedures; and delivering superior customer service.

Job Description

  • Establishes Line of Business risk management strategy and oversees the execution of the risk management programs. Serves as an advocate for the risk management program.
  • Ensures the risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.
  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.
  • Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.

Base Salary: $65,0000 – $139,150

Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills. Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and the following factors:

  • Lower in range – Building skills and experience in the job 
  • Within the range – Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 
  • Higher in range – Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
  • Compensation Range may vary based on Geographic Location

Incentive:

Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and individual performance.
